Call a Glacier

German Soundartist Kalle Laar launched an interactive telephone sound-installation called Calling the Glacier - Mobile Elegy.
You can call the telephonenumer + 49 89 3791 4058 and you will be connected directly with the Vernagt Glacier (Ötztal, Austrian Alps) and listen to the sound of the melting glacier in real-time.
As Marco of Automatictext wrotes (he directed me to this project), it sounds very raw and noisy - like a waterfall - maybe there are (digital?) artefacts or something else.

The idea behind is very clear, let's say, like the water of a melting glacier...
